Document shows Ford's move to V5-6R2012 Purpose The purpose of this
letter is to provide early notification of the upcoming release of the
Ford-specific C3PNG CAD and
Engineering software suite. This suite consists of Dassault Systemes CATIA
V5, Siemens PLM
Teamcenter, 3rd party applications along with Ford Ancillary applications.
This release is identified as C3PNG
CATIA V5 R22 Upgrade and is targeted for release during the Weekend of June 20-22, 2014 with First Customer Availability
(FCA) of June 23rd 2014. Background
with the Ford
Engineering Design Environment and Systems Engineering solution. Please note that
information in this letter is subject to change. Release of this product is
contingent upon Ford's acceptance of
the product after testing. Final details will be contained in the “C3PNG
CATIA V5 R22 Upgrade Release
Letter” scheduled to be distributed prior to the release date. Release Content
are some changes that
will be taking place you need to begin preparing for. See below for details. • Upgrade to CATIA
V5-6 R2012(R22) • Upgrade to
Teamcenter Integration for CATIA (TCIC) • Upgrade to Theorem
CADverter (Expected Version 17.0) • Upgrade to Q-Checker
(Version 2.19.5) • Upgrade to various
Ford Ancillary Applications • Ideas 6.3 will
remain unchanged • Only Windows 7
(64-bit client) hardware support for C3PNG applications • Unix, Windows XP/ Vista Operating systems

2. Assess your current
H/W and S/W infrastructure to determine the extent of upgrade required at your specific site. 3. Plan in advance for
the release upgrade to meet the proposed timing and avoid business impact. 4. Ford Supplier Sites
will be individually responsible for upgrading their C3PNG installation and Clients in accordance
with the Ford release weekend timing. Siemens PLM C3PNG Packages, Communication Plan and
Ford Business identified Supplier Prioritization will be provided to assist Suppliers and Value
Added Resources (VARs) with this task. Suppliers will be responsible to work with Dassault
Systemes per their own agreements. ***** Failure to take
