Summary: This article describes how to apply the Cache Activation setting in CATIA V5 in order to work in Visualization Mode.

Select Tools + Options… from the pull down menu. In the Options window, select Product Structure under the Infrastructure branch in the tree. In the Cache Management tab, activate the “Work with the cache system” option. Click OK then close and re-open CATIA for the setting to take effect.
