An error occurred while connecting to the server.
Restart the applet?

This issue is typically caused because of a port conflict on the Web Viewer server.

In order to resolve this go onto the Web Viewer server stop the Oracle AutoVue Server service.

Then open the jvueserver.properties file with Notepad and change the jvueserver.rmi.port to 2099 from 1099 and then save the file.

The jvueserver.properties file is located in the <jVue>\bin directory.

After the jvueserver.properties file has been changed, restart the Oracle AutoVue Server service and test viewing in Web Editor.
