Set up an Environment Variable for R21

Set up an Environment Variable for R21

***NOTE: R21 releases will support either LUM or DSLS.***

For R21 to support LUM, you must create an environment variable.

1. Right-click on “My Computer” and select “Properties”

 

2. Select “Advanced System Settings”


3. On the “Advanced” tab, Choose “Environment Variables…”


 

 

4. In “System Variables” click “New”

a. Variable Name: DSLICENSING

b. Variable Value: LEGACY.

 

5. Press “OK”

Task Complete. Your new Environment Variable will now point your software toward LUM.
