CATIA file is not recognized by SMARTEAM when opened in
CATIA and is Saved as a New object.
This issue is occurring because the UUID of the CATIA file
does not match what is stored in the TDM_COMPONENT_NAME column in the SMARTEAM
database.
To get the UUID of the CATIA file you will need to Save the
file to a SMARTEAM database with the CATIA Integration. The UUID gets stored in the
TDM_COMPONENT_NAME column in the SMARTEAM database.
In order to resolve this the TDM_COMPONENT_NAME for the object
needs to be updated at the database level in SMARTEAM or alternatively, the
Import Tool for SMARTEAM can be used to update the TDM_COMPONENT_NAME for the
object.
